Belle Plaine Junk Removal is slowly becoming Scott County’s number one free appliance pickup and recycling expert. Chris is EPA 608 type 1 certified. This means that you can rest assured that any appliances are disposed of responsibly and ethically. This is a free service, but tips are always welcome.

This particular service typically starts at around $200 per load. There are added costs that must go along with this. Those are:
17% MSW tax
fuel
labor

Unlike the free appliance and scrap metal pickup, this service is paid. If you have us come to pick up a handful of items or fewer, you will be charged a per-item fee. Those prices are typically around $50 per item. Mattresses are a bit more expensive. For that, the Prices start at $75 per item. There is an exception to these prices, however. If I am picking up multiple items, I could offer a bit of a discount per item. If the items are sitting curbside, I may not charge extra for labor. Other costs may or may not be applied to your quote. Those are:

Labor (typically only applies if the items are still in the house; does not apply if they are in a garage).
Fuel and labor costs are on a case-by-case basis. MSW tax is always applied.
One more item to note is that if your per-item cost exceeds $150, it will convert to our standard MSW rate of $150 plus 17% MSW tax plus any other costs associated (fuel/labor).
